I have always loved J Crew and I get so excited when they announce their new arrivals. They have so many beautiful new pieces I can’t wait to wear this Winter. Some of the pieces I like the most are very pink, so I put a fun outfit together that is centered around one of my favorite colors.
Halloween is on Friday, so I thought it would be fun to put together a little outfit inspiration for those of us who are handing out candy or going trick or treating. Every Halloween I get close to 2,000 trick or treater’s at work and it is highly encouraged that I dress up because I am the one handing out the candy. I don’t like to go too overboard in case I have a serious client come in, so I usually opt for a cute mask or headband.
This weekend is the blackout game for our local college football team. I love going to the blackout game because all of the fans and the team dress in black. Our teams colors are red and white, so I always try to add a little red with the black. Below is a little inspiration for when you go to your teams blackout game.
When I need to run errands I like to be comfortable, but still stylish because you never know when you will have a date with destiny and like Coco Chanel said “it’s best to be as pretty as possible for destiny”. Below is a little inspiration for a chic running around town outfit.
When I am shopping I try to save on pieces I know I am not going to wear often and tend to splurge on more classic pieces I know I will wear for years. Below is a little work outfit inspiration I put together with both saves and splurges.
What pieces do you save on and what pieces do you splurge on?
It is officially fall and I am definitely in the mood to begin shopping for the chillier months ahead. Below are 8 items I am hoping to buy this fall. I like to be ready for anything and we can get snow as early as October, so I added a few items for winter as well.
I have been shopping for the cold months ahead and have found so many fun pieces I can’t wait to buy. While shopping I noticed a lot of quilted pieces which reminded me of my grandmother’s quilts she used to make. They are one of my favorite things to get out of storage for the colder months because they remind me of my grandmother and they are the best things for staying cozy and warm.
