Good Morning Breezles,
After spending the weekend in the mountains I noticed how many trees are starting to change into their fall colors. It was gorgeous, but I am still not quite ready for the chilly temperatures, so I thought of a few things to get me excited for September.
Scroll down to see what I am planning doing this September and I would love to hear what your plans are for the next month.
Attend a College Football Game
I absolutely love college football and I get so excited thinking about all of the fun things associated with it. It’s a blast to dress up in your team’s colors, tailgate, see friends and just be there cheering on your favorite team.Whether they win or lose it is always a great time.
Take a Drive or Hike to Look at the Fall Colors
One of my favorite things to do with my husband and my dog is to take a long drive or hike just the three of us. It is so relaxing and it is nice to spend quality time with each other. There are so many gorgeous drives and hikes only minutes away from our home and it is fun to see the seasons change, especially in the fall when the trees are putting on their bright new colors.
Go to the Fair
There always seems to be a fair during the month of September. My friends and I put on our cowgirl boots and go every year. We always check out the farm animals (the pigs are my favorites), ride on the big slide and play carnival games.
Shop for Your Fall Wardrobe
September is a huge month for fashion. The September issue is the biggest issue of the year for every major fashion magazine and this is the month for fashion weeks around the world. What a great time to start stocking up on everything that’s on trend for the fall season.

Plan your Garden for Next Spring
I have been told the best time to plant is spring and fall. I would like to have tulips and hydrangeas for next spring, so I am going to start planning this month and the planting next. Cooler temperatures make garden chores easier on you and your plants, so September should be a perfect month to begin planning.
