Greetings Breezles,

Did you know heart disease is the number one killer of women?  Heart disease and stroke causes 1 in 3 deaths among women each year, which mean it kills approximately one woman every minute.  Fortunately, most cases can be prevented with education and action, so that is why Go Red For Women asks that you wear red on National Wear Red Day (Friday, February 5th) and donate to Go Red For Women.  Your donation goes towards programs to increase women’s awareness and research to discover more about cardiovascular health.  If you don’t feel like you can donate money wear some red and educate yourself and loved ones about heart disease.  You might be the one to prevent this deadly disease from affecting someone you care about.

A few ways to prevent heart disease is below.  How are you going to educate your loved ones about heart disease?
